Lone Survivor Foundation Benefit Match – Central Region PRS Club Series Qualifier

The Lone Survivor Foundation Benefit Match sponsored by Leupold is a one day Precision Rifle Series Style Match that is designed around the shooter experience. This match will count toward TX Precision Matches Monthly Series Points and will also be a PRS Club Series Regional Qualifier Match.
This will be a trophy and prize table match. Five trophies will be awarded in 4 classes of shooters – Pro, Expert, Marksman, Gas Gun.
Expect a fair course of fire with targets, solid props and well thought out stages that new and experienced shooters will enjoy. Shooters will experience Texas hospitality like no other match with hot lunch and bottled water at stages. This match will test your ability to engage targets at various distances out to 1100 yards with different directions of fire. Most targets will be in the 2-3 MOA range. The match will include a moving target stage. Shooters are welcome to shoot and check dope (there will be a $25 guest fee for non CCC range members) out to 1100 yards on all open areas of the range of Friday from 0900-1700. Shooters may also practice on the moving target for a $20 fee from 1200-1700 on Friday.
This match will be smooth and efficient. Expect 10 squads of shooters with 10 stages. Shooters will squad at check-in on the day of the match.
While you are welcome to bring whatever equipment you like, the match will be designed with the use of a bipod and bag or two. No Tripod support will be allowed on any stage. The course of fire will be 110 rounds or less. There will be no pistol.

From the North – Bryan/College Station: proceed south on US 6 to Hwy 159 south, to Millican. Follow 159 south 2.5 miles to a four way stop in Millican. Continue straight 4.2 miles to Cawthon. Turn right on crushed limestone road just before the Cawthon sign on right.
From the South – Navasota: proceed north on US 6 to F.M. 2154. Turn left and go 5.1 miles to a four way stop in Millican. Turn left and go 4.2 miles to Cawthon. Turn right on crushed limestone road just before the Cawthon sign on right.
Hotels:
There are numerous hotels in College Station, TX located 15 minutes north of the range. Navasota, TX has a couple of hotels located 10-15 minutes south of the range. College Station is the best option with plenty of dining locations nearby. The Best Western College Station is an option where you can walk across the parking lot and eat at Saltgrass Steakhouse. Convenient if you don’t want to have to drive to dinner. LaQuinta Inn & Suites College Station South is also a new property with easy access to the range a few miles north of Best Western.

Match Fee is Non-Refundale. In the event a shooter is unable to attend the match, the shooter may find a shooter to take his/her place no later than Friday June 15. Shooter must email new shooter name, email and shooter type to dave@txprecisionmatches.com
